DURAND LINE: demarcation between India and Afghanistan. … 2,640 kilometers (1,640 mi) long porous border between Afghanistan and Pakistan. It was established after an 1893 agreement between Sir Mortimer Durand of British India and Afghan Amir Abdur Rahman Khan

HINDENBURG LINE: German defensive position of World War I, built during the winter of 1916–1917 on the Western Front, from Arras to Laffaux, near Soissons on the Aisne , ,

MASON-DIXON LINE: demarcation between four states in the United States… forming part of the borders of Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and West Virginia (originally part of Virginia).

MAGINOT LINE: the 320 km line of fortification built by France along its border with Germany before World War II to protect it from German attack… named after the French Minister of War André Maginot.

MANNERHEIM LINE:  the line of fortification on the Russia-Finland border . . drawn up by General Mannerheim… it was constructed in two phases: 1920–1924 and 1932–1939.

MACMAHON LINE:  demarcating the frontier of India and China.. drawn up by Sir.Henry  MacMohan, ..China did not recognize the MacMohon line and crossed it in 1962.

MEDICINE LINE: between Canda and the United States… also known as 49th parallel north .. it crosses Europe, Asia, the Pacific Ocean, North America, and the Atlantic Ocean.

ORDER-NEISSE LINE: between Poland and Germany . .running along the Order and Neisse rivers, adopted at the Poland Conference (Aug 1945) after World War II.

RADCLIFFE LINE: demarcating between India and Pakistan… drawn up by sir Cyril Radcliffe.

SIEGFRIED LINE: line of fortification drawn up by Germany on its border with France.
